ZE Energy’s €40 Million Equity Raising

Linklaters and PwC Société d’Avocats advised Marguerite on the deal.

Marguerite, a pan-European equity fund investing in renewables, energy, transport and digital infrastructure, invested in ZE Energy, a developer of hybrid photovoltaic power plants with energy storage. ZE Energy raised €40M in this second equity round.

The innovative platform developed by ZE Energy allows to optimise and combine photovoltaic energy production with an energy storage solution, with a view to transform intermittent energy production characteristic of renewables power plant into baseload power, for clients purchasing electricity outside state-subsidised mechanisms through Corporate PPAs.

Marguerite is investing in ZE Energy alongside existing and new investors, including Sorégies, Ze Way Invest, Demeter and High-Tech Gründerfonds.
