DLA Piper has advised Wipro Limited on its acquisition of International TechneGroup Incorporated (ITI), a global digital engineering and manufacturing solutions company.
ITI’s offerings and solutions will be consolidated as a part of Wipro’s Industrial & Engineering Services business and will function as a wholly-owned US subsidiary of the company. Wipro’s Industrial & Engineering Services provides customers with a platform to innovate and engineer the next generation of products and platforms at scale, using an approach termed as “EngineeringNXT”.
Earlier this year, DLA Piper advised Wipro on the sale of Wipro’s Workday and Cornerstone OnDemand business to Alight, a leader in technology-enabled health, wealth and Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions for cash consideration of up to USD110 million. In 2018, DLA Piper also advised Wipro on the sale of their hosted data center services to Ensono.
ITI is a world leader in Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) interoperability software services.
