On April, 20, 2021, Absorb Software, a learning technology company based in Calgary, announced its US$500 million acquisition by Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe. The funding from the acquisition will allow Absorb to accelerate its growth through investments in product innovation and other strategic mergers and acquisitions.
