Volaris starts operations in El Salvador

Volaris, legally Concesionaria Vuela Compañía de Aviación, S.A.B. de C.V., is a Mexican low-cost airline based in Santa Fe, Álvaro Obregón, Mexico City with its main base at Tijuana International Airport in Tijuana. It is the country’s second largest airline after Aeroméxico and serves domestic and international destinations within the Americas.

Consortium Legal provided legal assistance for the establishment of operations of the company in El Salvador. The firm also advised on the direct connection between San Jose, Costa Rica and San Salvador, El Salvador, to obtain the permits for these flights in the country.

The company is also arranging for the start of operations of its Call Center in the Salvadoran capital.
