Ventus S.A. de C.V’s $73 Million Investment in El Salvador’s 1st wind park

LEXINCORP advised on the deal

Economy Minister Luz Estrella Dominguez signed a contract with developer Ventus SA de CV that guarantees legal stability for investments.

Ventus SA de CV will be in charge of building the 54-MW wind park in El Salvador’s municipality of Metapan, the department of Santa Ana. The Ventus project was awarded to Tracia Network in El Salvador’s renewable energy auction in 2017.

The project will carry an investment of USD 73.23 million over a period of ten years.

Ventus SA de CV engages in the generation, distribution, and sale of electricity through the development, implementation, and operation of wind power plants.
