UnitedHealth Group’s Acquisition of 50% stake in Clínica del Country and Clínica La Colina

UnitedHealth Group executed the acquisition of 50% stake in Clínica del Country and Clínica La Colina en Colombia.

Founded in 1962, Clinica del Country is a medical institution made up of independent physicians focused on delivering high quality care. Services include specialized medical equipment, appropriate infrastructure, highly trained human capital, care for pathologies up to the fourth level of complexity specializing in Gynecology and Obstetrics, Oncology, General Surgery, Neurosurgery, Orthopedics and Traumatology.

Built on a patient centric model, Clinic La Colina is a clinical institution that leverages science, technology and human expertise to deliver high quality and efficient health services.

UnitedHealth Group Incorporated owns and manages organized health systems in the United States and internationally. The company, led by Stephen J Hemsley, David Scott Wichmann and Larry C Renfro, in 2017 recorded $226 billion revenues.
