The idtech Único executed the acquisition of 100% of CredDefense, an anti-fraud solutions company using facial biometrics.
The goal is to strengthen the portfolio of innovative services and functionalities to consolidate Único as the largest digital authentication ecosystem, supporting Brazilians at the time of a purchase, when applying for credit, in the admission process and in the validation of documents based on electronic signatures.
Founded in 2007 as Acesso Digital, Único adopted the new name in December 2020. Único works with over 600 companies in segments such as banking, fintechs, retail, industry, carriers, and e-commerce.
Founded in 2014, CredDefense has about 200 clients, operates via WEB or APIs, for companies with higher query volumes, and in mobile through SDKs embedded in client and own APPs.
