Twitter’s Investment in Sharechat

Khaitan & Co advised Twitter in the deal, IndusLaw advised Mohalla Tech Private Limited, operating as ShareChat, while Gunderson represented Lightspeed.

Twitter led a Series D round investment in ShareChat. TrustBridge Partners, and existing investors Shunwei Capital, Lightspeed Venture Partners, SAIF Capital, India Quotient and Morningside Venture Capital also participated in the financing round.

ShareChat is an Indian social media platform developed by Mohalla Tech Pvt Ltd.
