Turner International Latin America’s $1.2 Billion Acquisition of Canal del Fútbol

Turner International Latin America – operating as a subsidiary of Turner Broadcasting System – executed its $1.2 billion acquisition of Canal del Fútbol (CDF) from the Chilean Football Association (ANFP) and Gestión de Televisión Limitada (GTV).

Turner International Latin America manages a portfolio of pay-TV networks across Latin America, and which includes CNN International, Boomerang, TCM, Warner Channel, Cartoon Network and CNN Chile, among others.

?The transaction has been approved by Chile’s National Competition Agency (FNE).
