Trella’s $40 Million Financing Rounds

Van Campen Liem has acted for Trella in its latest financing rounds comprising over $40 million in equity and debt.

Trella, a B2B technology platform and trucking marketplace connecting shippers with carriers, completed its $42 million funding round, comprising $30 million in Series A equity financing and $12 million in venture debt facilities.

The Series A financing round was led by Maersk Growth, the corporate venture arm of global multinational A.P. Moller, Maersk, and Raed Ventures, a Saudi based VC firm, with participation from other international investors including Flexport, 4DX Ventures, FJ Labs, Algebra Ventures and Venture Souq. While the main debt facility provider is Lendable – a UK based digital lending platform. 

The VCL team consisted of Saman Sadeghi (Picture), Tom Mitchell, Ilona van den Bergh, Pepijn van Egmond and Philip van Rossem.
