Thomas Cook Hotel Investments’s €51 Million Financing


Cuatrecasas advised CaixaBank on the transaction

Thomas Cook Hotel Investments (TCHI) has secured €51 million from CaixaBank to refinance the financial debt of its two hotel properties in Cádiz and to finance the building and development of a third hotel in Ibiza.

The financing requested by TCHI, a company jointly owned by British tour operator Thomas Cook and Swiss investment fund LMEY, is part of an expansion and renovation plan focused on Spain, the main vacation destination of the tour operator’s clients. The fund aims to operate ten to fifteen hotels in Spain within the next two years, compared to the three at present.
