The International Finance Corporation invests $20 Million in Agrivision Africa

Conyers Dill & Pearman advised The International Finance Corporation (IFC) on their US$20 million equity investment in Agrivision Africa, a company that specializes in large scale commercial farming of wheat, soya beans and maize.

International Finance Corporation is a private equity and venture capital arm of World Bank specializing in both direct and fund investments. The Financial Institution, led by Ethiopis Tafara, Robert B. Zoellick, Nikunj Jinsi, Peter Tropper and Mark Alloway, is based in Washington DC.

The investment will help Agrivision in implementing its expansion program, with a particular focus on optimizing its supply chain.
