Texas Pacific Land Trust’s Proxy Contest


Sidley represented Texas Pacific Land Trust (NYSE: TPL) in its lawsuit against dissident nominee, Eric L. Oliver, in connection with the proxy contest waged by a group of dissident shareholders.

Texas Pacific Land Trust owns tracts of land in Texas, previously the property of the Texas and Pacific Railway Company. The Firm, led by Tyler Glover and Robert J Packer, in 2018 recorded $300 million revenues.
