Clifford Chance advised Tesla on its real estate purchase agreement in the State of Brandenburg.
US electric carmaker Tesla and the Federal State of Brandenburg have signed the purchase agreement for approx. 300 hectares of land in the municipality of Grünheide (State of Brandenburg), near Berlin, where Tesla plans to build and operate its first European factory for cars, powertrains and batteries. For Brandenburg the Ministries for Economic Affairs, Finance and Environment were involved in the negotiations.
Tesla, Inc. designs, develops, manufactures, and sells electric vehicles, and energy generation and storage systems in the United States, China, Netherlands, Norway, and internationally.
