Garrigues and Rebaza, Alcázar & De Las Casas advised on the award procedure

Petroperú awarded the Consorcio Cobra-SCL UA & TC, comprised of the pre-qualified suppliers Cobra Instalaciones y Servicios S.A. and Sinohydro Corporation Limited, for the execution of the Detail, Supply and Construction Engineering Service (EPC) of the Auxiliary Units and Complementary Works (UA & TC) for the Talara Refinery Modernization Project (PMRT).

This consortium won the tender for have obtained the highest total score in the contracting process, considering the adaptation to the fuel quality regulation EURO 6.

The amount presented by the Cobra-SCL UA & TC Consortium for the execution of the service, amounts to more than US $ 936.58 million.

Meanwhile, the ISFC Talara Consortium that submitted a proposal for US $ 1,169’718,874.51 was disqualified.

Petróleos del Perú – PETROPERÚ S.A. engages in transporting, refining, distributing, and marketing fuels and other petroleum derived products in Peru. The company, led by Edilfredo Elias More Bayona, Pacheco Tejeda Miguel Angel, Gustavo Adolfo Navarro Valdivia and Lino Julio Cerna Díaz, is based in Lima.

Rebaza, Alcázar & De Las Casas advised Petroperú with Juan José Cárdenas, Gonzalo Soriano and Alejandra Gálvez.
