Sweco Belgium NV’s acquisition of Planet Engineering and Nexilis

Laga has advised Sweco Belgium NV on the acquisition of Planet Engineering, an engineering and consultancy firm from Brasschaat, and the workforce acquisition of Nexilis, an engineering firm from Tongeren.

With these acquisitions, Sweco strengthens its positions in its local markets and its expertise in the field of building and infrastructure. Planet Engineering has a deep expertise in structural engineering in concrete or steel for buildings, industrial construction and civil engineering. Nexilis is an engineering consultancy focusing on building service systems and is best known for its participation in steering and advisory councils of Flemish and European research projects.
