Svitzer’s Acquisition of Meridian Group’s Interest in Madero Amarres S.A.

Grupo Meridian executed the sale of its interest in Madero Amarres S.A. to Svitzer.

Svitzer has been offering its services to the maritime sector since 1833 and is part of the Maersk Group of companies, operating at 120 ports around the globe.

Marítima Meridian S.A was founded in the year 1985. The Company was first focused on dry-bulk, liquid bulk and general cargo Tramps ships to then beginning to specialize in tankers within all the country’s ports from San Lorenzo, Santa Fe down to Rio Grande, Tierra del Fuego through their own offices and a wide range of local agents at the various ports.
