Subsea7’s investing in Airborne Oil & Gas, the leading manufacturer of Thermoplastic Composite Pipe

AKD has assisted Subsea7 in becoming one of the group of shareholders of Airborne Oil & Gas.

Subsea7 is a world player in the field of seabed to surface engineering and construction services and is the leading manufacturer of Thermoplastic Composite Pipe (TCP) for oil and gas applications. TCP offers a radical reduction in cost and improvement in asset integrity. This applies for greenfield and brownfield developments in all regions and water depths. TCP pushes the boundaries of deepwater development and unlocks further significant savings through its lasting influence on subsea architecture and floating production facilities.

Airborne Oil & Gas, which is based in IJmuiden, manufactures pipelines for applications in the oil and gas industry.

Subsea7’s investment entails a partnership of strategic importance to both parties that provide the oil and gas industry with cost-effective pipe technology solutions.
