Submarino Viagens’ $77 Million Acquisition of Almundo

Submarino Viagens, operating as a subsidiary of CVC Brasil Operadora e Agência de Viagens S.A., executed the acquisition of 100% stake in Almundo for $77 million from the Spanish group Iberostar.

CVC Brasil Operadora e Agencia de Viagens S.A. provides travel services. The Company, led by Luiz Fernando Fogaca, Leopoldo Viriato Saboya and Ricardo Pinheiro Paixao, offers services including ship cruises, airline travel, resort, and hotel stays planning, booking, and organizing. In 2018 the company recorded $429 million revenues.

Iberostar Group is a Spanish tourism company. The Company offers hotels, tour operating, travel agencies, incoming agencies, airline and airline broker activities under one roof.
