The Banque des Territoires has finalized its subscription to a capital increase in the amount of 4 million euros in the company Starklab, specializing in technologies for sustainable development.

The Banque des Territoires has mobilized its own funds as part of its recovery plan and those of the Future Investments Program on behalf of the State. This operation is part of the Territories Innovation Program and is the winner of the “Dunkirk, Creative Energy” initiative led by the Urban Community of Dunkirk.

This fundraising will enable Starklab to accelerate the development of its gaseous waste treatment and energy performance solutions via heat recovery, in France and internationally. Created in 2018, Banque des Territoires is one of the five businesses of Caisse des Dépôts. It offers consultancy, loan financing and investment solutions to meet the needs of local communities, social housing organizations and local public enterprises with the objective of fighting against economic and social inequalities.

The Starklab company was founded in 2011 in the north of France and has around thirty employees. She innovated in particular by revisiting the principle of gas-liquid heat exchangers generally used in heat transfer processes.
