Skylark’s ¥40 Billion Common Stock Offering

Simpson Thacher represented SKYLARK HOLDINGS CO., LTD. (“Skylark”) in the offering.

The offering consisted of approximately ¥40 billion (approximately $370 million) of common stock.

Skylark is Japan’s largest operator of full-service casual dining chains, with over 3,100 restaurants serving approximately 300 million customers each year. Skylark intends to use the proceeds from the offering to fund capital investments and repay existing debt.

Nomura International plc and Mizuho International plc acted as the joint global coordinators for the offering.
