SIX Group’s acquisition of Aduno SA, a Swiss company active in the acquiring and terminal business


SIX Payment Services AG acquired from Aduno Group 100% of the shares in Aduno SA, a Swiss company active in the acquiring and terminal business (card acceptance and processing).

The acquiring/terminal segment of Aduno SA generated in 2016 a merchant sales volume of CHF 8.2 billion and an operating income of CHF 97.5 million with a workforce of about 240 employees.

SIX operates Switzerland’s financial market infrastructure and offers on a global scale comprehensive services in the areas of securities trading, clearing and settlement, as well as financial information and payment transactions. With the acquisition of Aduno SA, SIX is underscoring its aim of driving forward its growth and consolidating its position over the long term as the leading provider of card-based payment services in Switzerland and Europe.
