Sika AG's €2.41 Billion Private Placement

White & Case advised Citigroup, acting as Sole Global Coordinator, on the deal.

Compagnie de Saint-Gobain executed the €2.41 billion sale of its entire stake in the Swiss chemical manufacturer Sika, representing approximately 15.2 million shares and 10.75 percent of Sika’s share capital.

The disposal was carried out by way of an international private placement to institutional investors with an accelerated bookbuilding process. To date, it is the largest secondary offering in Europe since the beginning of 2020.
