Schroders Capital’s Acquisition of Three Hospitality Assets in Berlin

Azure Hotels announced the sale of three hospitality assets near Alexanderplatz in Berlin to Schroders Capital.

The assets comprise the two previous Indigo and Holiday Inn hotels as well as the One80° hostel. The British hotel group Whitbread intends to open the second hotel of its Premier Inn brand in Berlin next spring.

For this purpose, the two hotels will be merged and will form the largest hotel of the British brand in Germany. Azure Hotels will continue to operate the hostel under a long-term lease.
