Shearman & Sterling advised SCHEMA, a portfolio company of IK Investment Partners, on the financing of the acquisition of the remaining 73% stake in TID Informatik GmbH. SCHEMA Group is expanding its previous 27% shareholding in TID Informatik to 100%.
As a new wholly owned subsidiary of SCHEMA, TID Informatik will continue to operate as an independent company on the market alongside SCHEMA Consulting and SCHEMA Systems. The previous managing directors Robert Schäfer and Rafi Boudjakdjian will continue to run TID Informatik GmbH as managing directors.
TID Informatik GmbH was founded in 1992 by Robert Schäfer as a service provider in the field of technical documentation. Today TID Informatik is a successful and strongly growing software company, which offers the market-leading software platform CATALOGcreator® for electronic spare parts business, service information systems and portals.
