Clifford Chance provided assistance to Santander Consumer Bank S.p.A. in the context of a joint venture agreement with TIM S.p.A., assisted by BonelliErede.
The agreement is aimed at launching a consumer credit platform dedicated to TIM’s customers. The new partnership will be based in Turin (Italy) and will be 51% controlled by Santander Consumer Bank S.p.A. and 49% by TIM S.p.A.

Banco Santander made underlying profit of EUR 4,045 million in the first half of 2019, an increase of 2% in constant euros compared to the same period last year.
