Samay I secured a $330 Million Credit facility from Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation and The Bank of Nova Scotia (Scotiabank).
Power generation company Samay I S.A. operates as a subsidiary of Kallpa Generación. The company engages in electric power generation through the construction and operation of the Puerto Bravo Thermal Power Plant.
The 616 MW plant started operations in 2016 and is part of Peru´s Southern Energy Hub. The company was incorporated in 2012 and is based in Lima.
