RWE Renewables GmbH (FWB: RWE), one of the world’s leading renewable energy companies, announced its agreement to sell in two separate transactions: 1) a 51 percent interest in a portfolio of four onshore wind farms with a total installed capacity of 861 MW, located in Texas, to a subsidiary of Algonquin Power & Utilities Corp (NYSE: AQN); and 2) a 24 percent interest in the same portfolio to Greencoat, a UK-based, leading global renewables investment manager with more than $8 billion of assets under management.
