Silicone Engineering Ltd, a leading European manufacturer of silicone material solutions, sold the business to NYSE-listed Rogers Corporation.
Silicone Engineering was established in 1959 in Blackburn, UK, and helped pioneer the manufacture and supply of silicone rubber for sealing, insulation and protection of applications in a wide range of industrial sectors. The £30 million turnover firm is Europe’s leading silicone rubber manufacturer and supplier and boasts one of the best-equipped silicone research and development laboratories in the industry, with over 2000 silicone formulations.
Arizona-based buyer Rogers Corporation is a global leader in engineered materials used in applications including EV/HEV, automotive safety and radar systems, mobile devices, renewable energy, wireless infrastructure, energy-efficient motor drives and industrial equipment. The company operates manufacturing facilities in the United States, Asia and Europe, with sales offices worldwide.
