RobCo’s $1.2 Million Financing Round

honert + partner advises RobCo on the deal.

RobCo, a Munich, Germany-based developer of a robot manufacturing kit, completed a €1 million ($1.2M) capital funding round.

The money was raised from German investors from Freigeist Capital. Freigeist Capital is backed by prominent seed investor Frank Thelen, among others.

RobCo, founded in 2020 by Roman Hölzl, Constantin Dresl and Paul Maroldt, developed one of the first fully modular industrial robots that can easily be customized for any task and its self-awareness allows for fast configuration and adaption without specialized personnel.

RobCo is working with a number of pilot customers, and say that it is mainly targeting industrial customers with ten to 1000 employees.

The honert + partner team was led by Prof. Dr. Thomas Grädler (Picture) and Dr. Kai-Klemens Wehlage.
