Simmons & Simmons has advised the green infrastructure financing platform RGREEN INVEST in the formation of its investment fund INFRAGREEN IV, which has just announced its first closing at €384m.
This closing allows the management company to reach the symbolic threshold of one billion euros of funds under management.
INFRAGREEN IV is a fund dedicated to equity and quasi-equity investments in infrastructure projects related to energy transition and climate change in the European Economic Area (EEA). Following on from INFRAGREEN III, it is set to increase the proportion of investments dedicated to infrastructure projects associated with energy transition and adaptation with regards to climate change (green mobility, energy efficiency, etc.). In September, INFRAGREEN IV also obtained the Greenfin certification, the first state certification dedicated to green finance.
RGREEN INVEST is a Portfolio Management company, approved by the AMF, specialized in financing the energy transition.
The Simmons team was led by Agnès Rossi (Picture), Partner, assisted by Stéphanie Guers and Marie Keusch, associates.
