ReNew Power’s Joint Venture With GS Engineering and Construction Corporation Limited

Khaitan & Co advised GS Engineering and Construction Corporation Limited on its proposed joint venture with ReNew Power.

ReNew Power Ventures Pvt. Ltd formed a joint venture with South Korea-based engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) firm GS E&C to build a 300 megawatt solar power plant in Rajasthan, according to a joint statement released by the companies on Wednesday.

ReNew Power Private Limited is India’s largest renewable energy IPP (Independent Power Producer) in terms of total energy generation capacity.

GS E&C is one of South Korea’s largest construction and development firms and part of the GS Group.
