RELX Group’s Corporate Structure Simplification


Simpson Thacher represented RELX Group plc (“RELX Group”) in the simplification of its corporate structure under which its previous dual parent company structure has been simplified to a single parent company, RELX PLC.

In particular, Simpson Thacher represented RELX Group in its registered share exchange with respect to RELX PLC Shares (represented by RELX PLC ADSs) issued to RELX NV Shareholders and RELX NV ADS holders in exchange for their RELX NV Shares and RELX NV ADSs, respectively.

RELX Group is a global provider of information and analytics for professional and business customers across industries, serving customers in more than 180 countries with offices in about 40 countries. It employs about 30,000 people of whom almost half are in North America.
