The Province of Chaco executed a solicitation of consents from Eligible Holders to amend its 9.375% notes due 2024 and the indenture governing the Notes.
On April 12, 2021, the Province reached an agreement in principle with an ad hoc group of bondholders represented by VR Advisory Services Ltd., which according to the group, it holds approximately 50% of the Notes outstanding, pursuant to which the Ad Hoc Bondholder Group is expected to support the Province’s proposal to amend the Notes and the Indenture as set forth in the Consent Solicitation Statement by submitting their consents to the Proposed Amendments.
