Provepharm Life Solutions, an independent French pharmaceutical laboratory which rehabilitates known molecules, has finalized strategic financing of € 120 million.
These funds are provided by Tikehau Capital, which joins the group’s historic banking pool made up of Société Générale, BNP Paribas, Banque Populaire Méditerranée, Crédit Agricole Alpes Provence and Bpifrance. As part of its Horizon 2025 strategy, this fundraising will enable the group to accelerate its internal development and its external growth projects.
After another year in strong progress despite the global context of health crisis, the 2020 financial year ended with exceptional results (+ 30% in turnover) and the successful integration of a product portfolio, following the takeover of the company Apollo in the United States, was carried out in a very short timeframe in December 2020. Thanks to the financing obtained, Provepharm Life Solutions is preparing for the coming years operations that are just as structuring and of greater magnitude.
The mission of the pharmaceutical company Provepharm is to innovate to harness the full potential of each molecule in order to provide treatments that help improve the lives of patients. By strengthening its financial resources through this major operation, carried out under favorable conditions, the group can thus maintain its financial and capital independence.
Over the coming months, the company plans to strengthen its position as an international and independent pharmaceutical laboratory, in particular by recruiting new employees in France and the United States and also by increasing the surface area of ??its laboratories in Marseille to continue to control the its entire value chain.
