Olmedo Abogados and Berkemeyer have advised on the deal
Paraguay’s public works and communications ministry (MOPC) has awarded its first public-private partnership.
The project calls for the expansion of Paraguay’s Ruta 2- Ruta 7 highways, converting approximately 142km to four lanes to be operated under a 30-year concession period.
The project has been awarded to a consortium including Mota-Engil, Engenharia e Construção, S.A. (Portugal), Sacyr Concesiones S.L. (España) and Ocho A S.A. Constructora.
Olmedo Abogados has advised Mota-Engil, Engenharia e Construção, S.A. with Gustavo Olmedo Sisul (Picture), María Inés Galeano Estigarribia and Sebastián Olmedo Lansac.
Berkemeyer has advised Sacyr Concesiones S.L. with Hugo T. Berkemeyer and Martín Carlevaro.
