Powering Australian Renewables Fund’s acquisition of AGL Energy Limited’s (AGL) 200-megawatt wind farm venture in western NSW – Silverton


Allens has acted on the sale and project financing of AGL Energy Limited’s (AGL) 200-megawatt wind farm venture in western NSW – Silverton – into the Powering Australian Renewables Fund (PARF).

The PARF is a partnership between AGL, QIC and the Future Fund that supports the investment and development of large-scale renewable energy projects.

The $450 million Silverton project is the first green-field project to be developed by the PARF and complements the two solar plants AGL transferred into the fund initially.
