White & Case LLP has advised Pollinate on the deal.
The fast-growing fintech company, Pollinate, closed its second tranche of a Series B round.
The investment was led by National Australia Bank which has in parallel entered into a commercial partnership with Pollinate, through which it will implement Pollinate’s platform to help its SME customers to better manage and grow their businesses.
Pollinate’s model is to work with one leading bank in each geography and it is delighted to have National Australia Bank on board as its second leading bank, having partnered with NatWest in 2019. Pollinate’s platform was rolled out in the UK by NatWest under the name Tyl by NatWest in September 2019. National Australia Bank is likewise expected to embed the service into its digital banking offering under the name Merchant Hub. Other investors in Pollinate are Mastercard, Motive Partners and EFM Asset Management.
