Cederquist has represented Polaris Private Equity in the transaction.
Copenhagen-based private equity firm Polaris has acquired a majority stake in the Swedish activewear manufacturer Stronger for an undisclosed sum.
Founded in 2014, Stronger uses a direct-to-consumer e-commerce model through which sales last year exceeded 300m Swedish kroner.
Headquartered in Stockholm, the 400-employee firm last year sold more than half a million leggings, with 60% of sales coming from outside its home market Sweden.
At present, Germany and Benelux are Stronger’s largest markets outside of Sweden, with the UK and US among its fastest-growing markets.
Cederquist team was led by Lars Bärnheim (Picture), partner within M&A, together with primarily the associates Viktor Eriksson and Artemis Rahimian with the support of other specialist groups engaged in the transaction.
