Parcom and Mississipi Ventures’ Acquisition Of HEMA

Clifford Chance Amsterdam advised ABN AMRO, Rabobank and ING on the deal.

The transaction concerned the financing of the acquisition of Dutch iconic retailer HEMA by a consortium of Parcom and Mississipi Ventures.

HEMA is a Dutch variety store-chain. It began operations as a variety store. The chain is characterized by relatively low pricing of generic housewares, which are mostly made by and for the chain itself, often with an original design.
