Pacific Gas and Electric Company is one the largest combination natural gas and electric utilities in the United States. The Company, led by Nickolas Stavropoulos, David S. Thomason, Dinyar B. Mistry, Karen A. Austin and Julie M. Kane, generates, transmits, distributes, and sells electricity and natural gas to customers in Northern and Central California. It generates electricity using nuclear, hydroelectric, fossil fuel-fired, fuel cell, and photovoltaic sources.

The transaction closed on November 29, 2017.
