Orora Limited’s long term power purchase agreement with Pacific Hydro


Allens has acted for Orora Limited on its long term power purchase agreement (PPA) with global renewable energy provider, Pacific Hydro.

Under the terms of the agreement, Orora will acquire renewable energy from Pacific Hydro’s Clements Gap wind farm for Orora’s electricity demand for its South Australian operations, including the Gawler Glass facility.

Orora Limited manufactures and supplies packaging products and services to the grocery, fast moving consumer goods, and industrial markets in Australia, New Zealand, the United States, and internationally. The company, led by Nigel D. Garrard and Stuart G. Hutton, is based in Hawthorn.

Allens has acted for Orora Limited with a team including Kate Axup (Picture– Projects) and Danielle Jones.
