ORIX Capital Partners’s Acquisition of Specialty Welding and Turnarounds

Kirkland & Ellis advised ORIX Capital Partners on the transaction. Locke Lord LLP advised Hastings Equity Partners and Specialty Welding and Turnaround Services, LLC (SWAT).

ORIX Capital Partners, a subsidiary of ORIX Corporation USA, executed the acquisition of Specialty Welding and Turnarounds, LLC (SWAT).

Specialty Welding and Turnarounds is a leading provider of specialty welding and other turnaround services to the oil and gas refinery, petrochemical and industrial markets.

ORIX Capital Partners acquired SWAT from Hastings Equity Partners, which together with management will continue to be investors in SWAT in partnership with ORIX Capital Partners.

Cadence Bank led the financing for the transaction.
