Octopus Renewables Infrastructure Trust plc’s £350 Million Initial Public Offering


Gowling WLG’s team has advised new client, Octopus Renewables Infrastructure Trust plc on its initial public offering which raised £350 million.

The Company will invest in a diversified portfolio of renewable energy assets in Europe and Australia.

Managed by Octopus Investments Limited, a leading manager of alternative strategies managing over £8.6 billion of assets for over 64,000 retail and institutional investors, the Company aims to provide shareholders with an attractive and sustainable level of income returns, with an element of capital growth.

Gowling WLG advised on all the UK legal and regulatory issues regarding the transaction.
