Nylas’ $120 Million Series C Financing

Fenwick & West LLP advised Nylas on the deal while Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP represented Blue Cloud Ventures.

Nylas, a communications API platform for modern email, scheduling and work automation tools for developers and enterprises, announced its $120 million Series C financing.

The round was led by Tiger Global Management with participation from existing investors Citi Ventures, Slack Fund, 8VC, Round13 Capital, Scale Asia Ventures, Nest Founder and Future Shape Principal Tony Fadell and more. New investors include Owl Rock Capital (a division of Blue Owl), Blue Cloud Ventures and individual investors including Stripe Co-Founder and CEO Patrick Collison, Stripe President and Co-Founder John Collisonand Klarna CEO Sebastian Siemiatkowski.

The new capital will help Nylas invest in and scale its integrated and productivity-driven developer experience as well as support the influx of developers and companies using Nylas.

The Fenwick team included corporate partner Michael Brown (Picture) and associates Ari Haber, Kristen Nicol and Evan Buhler.

The Orrick team advising Blue Cloud Ventures was led by John Bautista and Paul Klimos.
