NexPoint Real Estate Finance’s $95 Million Initial Public Offering


Winston & Strawn LLP represented NexPoint Real Estate Finance on the deal.

NexPoint Real Estate Finance, Inc. raised $95 million by offering 5 million shares at $19, the low end of the range of $19 to $21.

The company granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 750,000 shares of its common stock at the IPO price, less underwriting discounts and commissions.

The shares are expected to begin trading on the New York Stock Exchange on February 7, 2020, under the ticker symbol “NREF.”

Raymond James & Associates Inc., Keefe Bruyette & Woods Inc. and Robert W. Baird & Co. Inc. are the book-running managers for the offering.

NexPoint Real Estate Finance, Inc. is a newly formed mortgage REIT focused on single-family rental and multifamily loans.
