MTH Retail Group Holding GmbH (MTH) announced that it has reached an agreement with Migros-Genossenschafts-Bund to acquire OWiba Group.
The closing of the acquisition is subject to certain conditions and the approvals of the competent authorities.
OWiba AG together with its subsidiaries, Iba AG, Office World AG and Tramondi Büro AG, is a leading retailer for office supplies and office furniture in Switzerland. OWiba Group operates 24 stores in Switzerland and has approximately 400 employees. OWiba Group generated a total turnover of about CHF 180 m in the fiscal year 2016.
The parties have agreed to keep the details of the transaction confidential.
