Morgan Stanley’s US$7 Billion Senior Notes Offering

Sidley has advised the underwriters, led by Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC, in connection with Morgan Stanley’s SEC-registered global offering of US$7 billion aggregate principal amount of senior notes. The three-tranche offering was comprised of US$1.75 billion of floating rate senior notes due 2022, US$3 billion of 3.625% fixed rate senior notes due 2027 and US$2.25 billion of 4.375% fixed rate senior notes due 2026. The transaction settled on January 20, 2017.
