Miko’s Acquisition of a Minority Shareholding Psition of 25% in MAAS

Van Campen Liem advised the shareholders of MAAS on the deal.

Miko completed its participation in MAAS International Holding B.V., a Netherlands based investment company.

Nimbus acquired MAAS in December 2018 to help the coffee and vending machine expert optimize its potential and achieve more in the Dutch market with a truly distinctive proposition. With its motto “Treat Yourself Well”, MAAS is known for its range of tailor-made beverages. In recent years, MAAS focused on sustainability, resulting in initiatives such as impact@origin and impact@footprint.

Miko, the coffee service and plastic packaging specialist, listed on Euronext Brussels, found in MAAS a complementary organization alongside its Dutch subsidiary Miko Koffie Service. This participation is in line with the long-term strategy of the Miko group to further develop the roll-out of an international coffee service organization, by means of participations and its subsidiaries in various countries.

As a result of the transaction, Miko has acquired a minority shareholding position of 25% in MAAS.
