MHA London’s acquisition of 1.32 acre former school and depot site in central Slough

Fladgate LLP has advised MHA London on the acquisition of a 1.32 acre former school and depot site in central Slough.

The project is located in close proximity to the new Crossrail station due to open in 2018 and is the latest sign of Slough’s emergence as a major area of regeneration and investment due to the imminent connectivity to Heathrow to the west and London to the east.

The Fladgate team also acted for MHA London on an agreement with Slough Borough Council which enabled planning permission to be granted for the re-development of the site to provide two seven storey residential blocks.

The agreement provides for improvements to the local highways network, education and recreation facilities, the promotion of non-car travel and the provision of affordable housing.

Real estate partner Adrian Wallace and planning partner Mark Harnett (picture) led the team, assisted by planning associate Rachel Lindop.
